Wife, mother of 3, former teacher, Enneagram 9w1, chronic sufferer of Imposter Syndrome from the DFW area of Texas.
I am mad passionate about social justice and helping to amplify voices of underrepresented populations, and I would like to find the best way to use my gifts (whatever they may be) to serve the people that need it the most.
My writing focus is creative nonfiction/memoir. I feel like I have lived roughly a dozen lives in my not many more than 40 years on earth – I have been a teen mom, a single mom, and a married with all her stuff seemingly together mom (spoiler alert: it was a hoax). I tend to keep a running narration of my life in my head (think the show Scrubs), and think it may be time to start putting the words on paper.
