As someone who has often struggled with being vulnerable in face-to-face conversations, writing has been a safe place for me to process, dream, and better understand how I am processing life, work, relationships, faith, and everything in between.
I fell in love with the process of researching and writing during my master’s program. I studied the topic of loneliness in leadership and the need for human connection and, as a happy consequence, learned that I am not alone. In the search to find ways to better understand how individuals can move past seasons marked by loneliness, I met several friends along the way who asked for me to share my findings with them. Since completing my research, I haven’t been able to shake the feeling that this topic could become a book that provides hope in the midst of darkness for people who desperately need to know they are not alone.
I have a passion for making research come to life through writing and sharing, and I am eager to learn more through this course to pursue a life-long dream of mine of one day (soon!) writing and publishing a book.
