Hi, I’m Wendi, mother of 3 boys (2 married & 1 left at home finishing his senior year of high school.) My husband and I have been married for 34 years, and this will be my last year homeschooling after over 20 years!! I can’t believe it’s almost over. But, I am excited to see where life will take me these next few years. I work the night shift as an RRT, and Covid has most definitely changed my perspective on my career. We love kayaking (very good socially distanced activity), and Luke (my youngest) and I have practiced tai chi for over 3 years, while training karate together for 10 years. We truly enjoy volunteering at our local Christian Ministry together, where this year I have taken on the responsibility of the Christmas Angel Tree ministry. Author school has been on my radar for years, yet I never had the confidence to try it. This strange, awful pandemic year has opened my eyes to the need of spending our precious hours doing what is most important. Writing this novel that has patiently waited in my head for the “right time” is most important to me. If not now, when? I hope this will be a promising new adventure and something really good to come out of the ashes of this dumpster fire we call 2020.
